For the art and Italian Renaissance lover, this painting is a reinterpretation painting of Sandro Botticelii’s original painting titled "Venus and Mars" (1485).

This painting is one of my favorite because of the narrative. This painting spoke to me, because of its narrative, depicting the goddess Venus', conquest over Mars.
